GAM hosts two big upcoming events

LIVONIA – The Golf Association of Michigan will host two big upcoming events, an annual hole-in-one contest and Member Relations Day to raise money for the Michigan Turfgrass Foundation and the Evans Scholars.

The hole-in-one contest is set for Sept. 8 at Whispering Willows, a municipal course in Livonia. Only golfers who have made hole-in-ones are eligible to play the seventh hole from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Applications are available at ww.gam.org, www.detnews.com and www.golflivonia.com.

On Aug. 25, the member relation day visits Essex Golf & Country Club in Windsor, Ontario, with a 12:30 shotgun. Cost is $600 per team.
